He was predeceased by: his wife Lina; his parents, Jack Larche and Mirelle Larche; and his sisters, Mirelle Larche and Mignonne Verboncoeur.

He is survived by: his daughters, Lise Laforest (Michel) of Timmins, Denise Larche (Réjean Theriault) of Iroquois Falls and Joanne Larche (Brent Woods) of Timmins; his grandchildren, Alain Laforest, René Laforest (Allison Kirkbride), Amanda Larose-Österby (Magnus), Michel Larose (Tanya Genier), Mélanie Chassé (Joshua Clancy) and Craig Chassé; his great grandchildren, Dexter Österby, Cohen Larose, Zoé Rivard, Brady Clancy, Knox Laforest, Shay Clancy and Nico Larose; and his brothers, Vital Larche (Lucie) of Timmins and Louis Larche (Carmen) of Timmins. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews as well as brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.
