With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Antonio Cantera (Timmins, Ontario), who passed away on April 8, 2024 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his daughter Linda Cantera; and his parents, Emilio Cantera and Linda Cantera. He is survived by: his wife Teresa; his daughter Lisa Newell (Bill); his siblings-in-law, Ottavia Cantera of Sulmona, Armida, Alfredo Ciccone of Timmins and Ernesto Silveri of Burnaby; and his nieces and nephews, Angela Ciccone, Kratofil (Arsen) of Timmins, Roberta Ciccone-Moscone (Anthony) of Sarnia, Lou Silveri (Tamara) of Burnaby, B. C., Pino Silveri (Chrissy) of Burnaby, B. C., Luigi, Lucia Marini of L'Aquila, Maria Olga Cantera (Salvatore), Angela Cantera and Emilio Cantera of Sulmona, Italy.. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Sacred Heart Church Building Fund or to Sports for Kids Timmins, or a charity of one's choice.
