He was predeceased by: his parents, Anthony Cieslak Sr. and Martha Shmuck; and his siblings, Annie, Tom Cieslak and Bob Cieslak.

He is survived by: his siblings, Erika Pichette of Timmins, Suzy Hobin (Randy) of Timmins, Ted Cieslak of Timmins and Sophie Cieslak; and his nieces and nephews, Charlie, Jason, John, Sarah, Matthew and Emily (Claude Pichette).
