He is survived by: his wife Frances of Timmins; his daughters, Danica Edmonds (Rob) of Thunder Bay, Christina Kerr (Michael) of Timmins and Lori-Ann Theocharides of Ajax; his grandchildren, Michael (Kristen), Mark, Ryan (Caissy), Aaron, Jessica and Amy; his great grandchild Elizabeth; and his sisters-in-law, Pauline Onotsky, Diana McNiven, Linda Scott, Jeannette Onotsky and Lizzi Gross. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Donations to the Heart and Stroke Fund or the Alzheimer's Society in his name would be welcomed.
