He was predeceased by: his parents, Glen and Emma; and his sister Deanna. He is survived by: his wife Elaine; his children, Shelley Whitesell (Paul O'Melia) and Jeffrey Whitesell (Patrycja); his grandchildren, Kate, Coryn, Trevor, Megan and Teah; and his sister Charlotte Sandor (John).
