He was predeceased by: his parents, Ross and Hazel; and his siblings, Floyd, Doris Ravin, Judith Ann Sanderson and Betty Jean Sanderson.
He is survived by: his wife Betty; his children, Kevin (Nicole) of Brownsville, Karen Lama (Norm) of Vienna, Kim Sanders (late Mark) and Tim DeRouck (Colleen) of Tillsonburg; his grandchildren, Keirsten (Henry), Madison, Avah Sanderson, Morgan Lama, Aaron (Alexa), Tyson (Kelsey), Taylor (AJ), Caitlin (Brandon) and Evan (Kaitlyn); and his great grandchildren, Owen, Blake, Jaxon, Kayson and Jaxen. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
