He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Ferguson and Florrie Gregson; and his siblings, Edna Buller, Harry Ferguson, Jean Edwards and Dorothy Underhill.
He is survived by: his wife Betty; his children, Penny Ferguson (Pierre), Richard Ferguson (Kathy) and Andrea Dunn (Jamie); and his grandchildren, Jill Cameron (Shawn), Michelle Van Rietvelde, Sidney Dunn (Logan), Jason Dunn (Allison), Ryleigh and Paysen Cameron.
