Velma Schott Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Velma Schott (Tillsonburg, Ontario), who passed away on January 13, 2025 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Bill Schott; her parents, Emery Amant and Ella Mae St. Amant; and her siblings, Raymond, Philip, Edgar, David and Rita.
She is survived by: her children, Brenda Rzucek (Jeff) of Glen Meyer, Gord Schott (Karen) of Simcoe and Linda Cairns (Bryan) of Courtland; her grandchildren, Derek Penner (Cindy), Michael Penner (Laura), Jason Schott, Jenna Higgins (Mitch), Heather Pynaert (Brian), Brett Cairns (Meghan) and Stacey Cairns; her great grandchildren, Claire, Leah Penner, Ray Penner, Cadence and Breanna Pynaert; her siblings, Leo St. Amant (Anne), Jean Gagne (Roger), Peter St. Amant and Gabriel St. Amant; and her sisters-in-law, Frances Schott and Diane St. Amant. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the Ostrander's Funeral Home (43 Bidwell St, Tillsonburg, ON N4G3T6). A memorial service was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial donations to the Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital or the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the Schott family.
