It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Mary Virag (Tillsonburg, Ontario), who passed away on September 9, 2024, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband George; her sons, George Jr. and David; her parents, Frank and Katharine; her brothers, Anthony (Anne), Frank Jr. (Elizabeth), Joseph, Carl (Evelyn) and Jacob (Rosemary); and her brothers-in-law, Michael Virag (Lenke) and John Kardos.
She is survived by: her sisters-in-law, Helen Kardos of Tillsonburg and Irene Spohn of Tillsonburg.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 16th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Ostrander's Funeral Home (43 Bidwell St, Tillsonburg, ON N4G3T6). A prayer was held on Monday, September 16th 2024 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, September 17th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church (51 Venison St W, Tillsonburg, ON N4G1V1).
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital Foundation would be appreciated and may be made directly with the charity or through.
