She was predeceased by: her husband Robert E. Smith (Bob); her parents, Elmer Pomeroy Smith and Caro Leola Houseworth (Smith); her siblings, Helen (Donald Rice), Garfield (Mildred Taylor), Douglas (Mary Turnbull), Bryce (Esther Schneller), Bruce (Ruth Moir) and Murray Smith; her brother-in-law Bill Watts; and her son-in-law Edward Hill.

She is survived by: her siblings, Keith (Sheila), Josiah (Elizabeth), Gerald (Shirley), Carolyn Taylor (Crooker) and Alice Watts; her sister-in-law Marguerite Smith (Williams); and her children, Judy Prokopowycz (Andrew), Cindy Hill, Shelley Smith, Robert N. Smith, Patti Wood (Michael) and Annette Klosler (George). She is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
