She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Gartz and Gertrud Gartz (Hulbuchs); and her brothers, Paul, Peter, Ludwig, Heinz and Joseph Gartz.

She is survived by: her husband Henry; her children, Richard Heppenheimer (Carol) of Straffordville, Annette West (Frank) of St. Catharines and Martin Heppenheimer of Saudi Arabia; her grandchildren, Kathleen, Nadine (Collver), Eddie and Ray; her great grandchildren, Haley, Lindsay, Brooklyn and Caleb; her great great grandchild Tyson; and her siblings, Willie Gartz of Germany, Karl Gartz of Germany, Elizabeth Gartz of Germany and Maria Henneger of Germany. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
