It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Julian Remi VanDaele of Tillsonburg, Ontario, who passed away on December 31, 2023, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Orla; his former wife Margaret; his parents, Achiel VanDaele and Bertha VanDaele; and his siblings, Suzie Dalby and Roger VanDaele.
He is survived by: his children, Linda (John Rupert), Terri (Doug Battin) and Guy (Linda VanDaele); his grandchildren, Duke Rupert (Leanne), Jason Rupert (Christine), Amber Leavey, Andrea Mathieu (Patrick), Tracy Battin (Oscar), Derek Battin (Jen), Lyndsey VanDaele and Brianne VanDaele (Chris Agro); his great grandchildren, Brennan, Anna Rupert, Tyson Talsma, Evan, Taryn Rupert, Luc, Julian and Georgia Mathieu; and his siblings, Georgette Hooyer and Gus VanDaele (Stuffy).
Memorial donations will be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or Doctors Without Borders and may be done directly with the Charity or by contacting Ostrander's Funeral Home.
