He was predeceased by: his parents, Julian Michiels and Irma Michiels; his son John; his siblings-in-law, Robert and Angelina; and his parents-in-law, Olive and Walter.
He is survived by: his wife Diane; his children, Lisa (Tim) and Brian (Stephanie); his grandchildren, Jaden, Logan, Trinity and Madison; his brother Andy; his nephew Wayne (Carole); and his niece Vicky (Ron).
The family asks that memorial donations in memory of John be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, or the Canadian Lung Association, and may be made by contacting Ostrander's Funeral Home, 43 Bidwell Street, Tillsonburg (519-842-5221) who have been a trusted with arrangements.
