He was predeceased by: his parents, Weenen Dieks and Mary Zimmerman. He is survived by: his wife Karola Thea Dieks; his grandchildren, Marlene, Mike Laurin of Cambridge, Ashley Dieks and Chris of Sudbury; and his sister-in-law Helga Shur. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses (1 Michael Lane, Tillsonburg, Ontario N4G4G9).
