It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Johanna Petronella (Peeters) Gysbers (Tillsonburg, Ontario), who passed away on April 4, 2025, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Jacobus Gysbers (Jim); her parents, Adrianus Peeters and Anna Catharina Peeters; and her siblings, Jan, Kees, Frans, Nell, Luus, Engeline and Rea.
She is survived by: her children, Andy (Wendy), Anita (Keith-John) and Ingrid (Nick); and her grandchildren, Nicholas, Lara, Simon, Alexandra, Catharina, Samuel, Audrey, Wallace, Liet, Beorn, Ava, Elowen, Cooper and Noah.
A rosary will be held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the Maurice J. Verhoeve Funeral Homes - Burial And (262 Broadway, Tillsonburg, ON N4G3R7). Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 from 6:15 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, April 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Mary's R. C. Church (51 Venison St W, Tillsonburg, ON N4G1V1). A burial will be held on Friday, April 11th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Tillsonburg Cemetery (191-193 Simcoe St, Tillsonburg, ON N4G0E1). A reception will be held on Friday, April 11th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the St. Mary's R. C. Church (51 Venison St W, Tillsonburg, ON N4G1V1).
