With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jean H. Hemmings of Tillsonburg, Ontario, born in Kincardine, Ontario, who passed away on November 13, 2023 at the age of 103. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Baker and Clara Clements; her spouse Sid Hemmings; her grandson Vance Brown; and her siblings, Arthur, Kenneth (Jean), Clarence, George, Gordon, Russell, Marjorie Anderson and Helen Howard.
She is survived by: her children, Don (late Gerrie) of Ingersoll, Diane (Kursiss) of Simcoe, Helen (Henk Versteeg) of Woodstock and Larry Hemmings (late Karen) of Holyrood; her grandchildren, Cindy, Chris Hemmings, Marnie Kursiss-Morrow (Greg), Lisa Hobbs (Jeff) and Lee Hemmings (Tracy); and her great grandchildren, Nicole, Brandi, Trevor, Kirby, Sydney, Kyra and Tessa. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins.
