He was predeceased by: his parents, Janos M. Farkas and Rozalia V. Farkas; his father-in-law George Gal Sr.; and his brother-in-law George Gal Jr. (Clara). He is survived by: his wife Mary; his daughters, Kathy Farkas and Pamela Bristow (Kevin); his grandchildren, Natasha Farkas and Braxton Bristow; his great grandchildren, Aurora, Roman and Ellie Tremblay; his mother-in-law Elizabeth Gal; and his sisters-in-law, Elizabeth Dobrentey (Arpad), Eva Gal and Susan Wardell (Doug).
