He was predeceased by: his wife Magdalena; and his son Klaas. He is survived by: his daughter-in-law Leah Baan; and his children, Anneke, Dave Vanden Berg, William, Jennifer Baan, Corinne, Adrian Duizer, Joanne, Arie Bulk (Danica), Marlene and David Looby.
