He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Gero Sr. and Ada Gero (Rockefeller); and his siblings, Emery Gero (Nancy), Betty (Louis Jolivet) and John Gero.
He is survived by: his wife Viola Betty Gero (Armstrong) of Tillsonburg; his daughters, Annette Heppenheimer (Brent Smith) of Simcoe and Laura McKillen of Tillsonburg; his grandchildren, Kathleen Hunter, Nadine Caverly (Collver) of Mt. Elgin and Blair McKillen (Krystal) of Brantford; his great grandchildren, Emmett McKillen, Hailey Heppenheimer (Kevin), Lindsay Kirr, Caleb Hunter (Leslie) and Brooklyn Hunter; his great great grandchildren, Delilah, Tyson, Mateo, Izabel, Amari, Quinn and Atreus; and his siblings, Joe Gero (Cindy) of Delhi, Ernie Gero (Jackie) of Delhi and Barb Horton (Joe) of Brantford. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Maurice J. Verhoeve Funeral Homes - Burial And (262 Broadway, Tillsonburg, ON N4G3R7). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
