With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Elizabeth Helmer of Tillsonburg, Ontario, who passed away on December 18, 2023 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Eve Elizabeth and Ernest Modrits; and her siblings, Katherine Houghson (Howard) and Martin Modrits (Lois). She is survived by: her children, Dwight Helmer (Marion), Marlane Gibson (Ken) and Penny Manousos (Dimitri).

Memorial donations to the Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital Foundation or the Salvation Army, Tillsonburg may be made directly or by contacting Ostrander's Funeral Home, 43 Bidwell Street, Tillsonburg (519-842-5221) who have been entrusted by Elizabeth's family. Donations are being accepted for: TILLSONBURG DISTRICT MEMORIAL HOSPITAL FOUNDATION THE SALVATION ARMY TILLSONBURG COMMUNITY CHURCH.
