We are sad to announce that on September 11, 2022 we had to say goodbye to Douglas Arthur Dennis (Tillsonburg, Ontario), born in Straffordville, Ontario. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Dennis and Rosa Dennis; and his brother Lawrence Dennis. He is survived by: his children, Cindy-Lee Dennis (Matthew Turner), Christine Dennis (Sean Grantham), Alison Dennis (Andrew Sloan) and Julie Casey (Timothy Casey); his grandchildren, Emmett, Hillary, Alistair, Clare, Rose, Sophie, Isabel, James and Mina (Francesco); his great grandchild Mila; and his brother Wayne Dennis. He is also survived by the mother of his four daughters.

An avid steward of the Carolinian forest, Doug was a director of the Elgin Middlesex Woodlot Owners' Association and was proud to have been awarded the Carolinian Canada Conservation Award in recognition of his outstanding contribution towards the protection of the natural diversity and natural habitats of Ontario's Carolinian Life Zone.
