She was predeceased by: her spouse Oliver Oatman; her parents, Charles Birdsall and Eva Birdsall (Swinn); and her sisters, Freda Graves, Jean Harvey, Leon Oatman, Beatrice Oatman, Alex Bolton and Retha Bolton.
She is survived by: her children, James Oatman (Anna) of Arizona, Charles Oatman (Teri) of Rockwood, David Oatman (Reg) of Tillsonburg and Jean Marie Oatman (Doug Kent) of Tillsonburg; and her grandchildren, Oliver, Gwen, Becky, Chris, Aaron, Brian, Madison, David and Stephanie.
