He is survived by: his wife Rose-Lynne McDougall (Nierenhausen); his daughter Colleen McDougall of Gatineau, QC; his grandchildren, Nazha (Hussein Jama), Mika and David; his daughter Kathleen Gauthier of Agassiz, BC; his grandsons, Justin (Christine) and Nicholas (Nicole); his daughters, Natalie (Charlie Champagne) of Ottawa and Kimberly McDougall of Gatineau, QC; his grandchildren, Ashley, Matthew and Kevin; his sister Veronica McDougall; his stepchild Shelley (Mike Poirier) of Arnprior; his stepgrandsons, Tyler and Brock; his stepdaughter Dawn (Mike Ferguson) of Welburn; and his stepgrandchildren, Isaac (Olivia) and Cheyne. He is also survived by great-grandchildren.
