He was predeceased by: his father Donald; and his grandparents, Stephen and Marjorie Rutherford (Grandma). He is survived by: his son Karter; his mother Julie; his siblings, Brock and Laurie (Ed Hague); his niece Brooklynn; and also Aliyaah.
