He was predeceased by: his sister Diane; and his parents, Sam and Pauline. He is survived by: his girlfriend Wendy Lauwerier; his son Steven Chanyi (Jen) of Portland; his stepchildren, Crystal Lauwerier-Wright (Brian) of Waterford, Mark Lauwerier (Stacy) of Langton and Brandi Lauwerier-Le Blanc (Kevin) of Smithville; his grandchildren, Davyn, Mack, Hazelle, Abby, Mya and Blake; and his sisters, Linda Chanyi of Dorchester, Marylee Chanyi of Kingston and Karen Parsons (Paul) of Courtland.
