With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Ben Johnson (Tillsonburg, Ontario), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Ben left this world on November 23, 2024 at the age of 88, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his spouse Gerry Johnson; his son David Johnson (Helen) of Tillsonburg; his parents, Benjamin Johnson and Hazel Johnson; and his sister Linda Osler.
He is survived by: his daughters, Wendy Englander (Steve) of London and Janice Simon (John) of Dorchester; and his grandchildren, Karrie Englander (Mark Hedden), Nathan Englander (Ginny), Brianne Englander, Greg Simon (Nicole Sedgwick), Kyle Simon, Jeremy Simon (Katelyn Gow), Matthew Johnson (Jenna) and Brittany MacKay (Blair). He is also survived by six great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 27th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Maurice J. Verhoeve Funeral Homes - Burial And (262 Broadway, Tillsonburg, ON N4G3R7). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 28th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Tillsonburg Cemetery (191-193 Simcoe St, Tillsonburg, ON N4G0E1).
