She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Matthynssens and Blanche Matthynssens; her brother Marcel Verstraeten (Ginny); and her brother-in-law Roy Hillner. She is survived by: her husband David Hillner; her son Marc Hillner (Jen) of Delmer; her grandsons, Jaxon and Ryder; her sister Diana Ghesquiere (Noel) of Tillsonburg; and her siblings-in-law, Marlene Lewis of British Columbia, Richard Hillner (Marilyn) of Bancroft, Brenda Hartford of St. Thomas, Dennis Hillner of Vienna, Anthony Hillner of Alberta, Elisabeth Cloes (Russel) of St. Thomas, Charles Hillner of Alberta, Jason Hillner of Alberta, Anna Hillner (Jody) of Belle River and Michael Hillner (Mary) of St. Thomas. She is also survived by Aunts, Uncles and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
