Ambrose left this world on August 15, 2024 at the age of 84, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his wife Margaret Mary (Francois); his parents, Jack Gardner and Rose Vera Gardner (Podolski); and his brothers, Jack Gardner and Robert Gardner.

He is survived by: his sons, Sean Gardner and Marc Gardner (Maryanne); his grandchildren, Naida Anne (Keelen), Arabella Margarite and Kaiya Rose; his great grandchildren, Jagger-Joseph and Jaylene; his brother Larry Gardner (Billy Joy) of Amherstburg; and his sister-in-law Veronica (Barry Nolan) of Copenhagen. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
