Ralph Edward Sawyers Obituary

Ralph Edward Sawyers, a resident of Tilbury, passed away suddenly on Saturday, January 14th, 2017 at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance at the age of 61. He is survived by his brothers Michael and Betty of Dunnville, Richard and Janice of Toronto, David and Mary Helen of Tilbury, and Mark and Jennifer of New Market. Predeceased by his mother Florence, father Charles and stepmother Leila.

He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Ralph was a long-time member of Community Living Chatham-Kent, enrolled in the Park Avenue Industrial Programme for over 30 years. Ralph will be remembered for his love of Nascar Racing, especially #"s 24 and 48. He loved his holidays at Rondeau Park, trips to Blue Jays games, the Michigan 500 and he was very proud of his Special Olympics Bowling Awards.

Friends and family will be received at DENNING"S OF CHATHAM (5129-352-2390), 4 Victoria Avenue , on Tuesday evening from 7 to 9pm, and again on Wednesday morning from 10:30am until the time of the Funeral Service at 11:30am. Cremation to follow. Donations in Ralph"s memory may be made to Community Living Chatham-Kent.
