He was predeceased by: his siblings, Joey Robert, Mary Burton, Mary Anne Roy and Jules Dupuis. He is survived by: his children, Joseph Robert (Kathryn) and Didi Robert; his siblings, Margaret Labadie (Bill), Cheryl McLean (Mike), Rose Marchand, Pauline Lozon and Camille Dupuis (Theresa); and his close friend Jacques Paulin. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Reaume Funeral Home Inc. (6 Canal St W, Tilbury, ON N0P2L0). A memorial service was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
