She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Charles Norbert Desbiens and Yvonne Margaret May; her husband Robert Jerome Sylvestre "Bob"; her sons, Christopher (Ingrid), Jason (Jill) and Timothy; her grandchildren, Jessica (Brian), Samuel, Alexandre, Joshua, Anthony, Nathan and Serenity; her siblings, Kathy Levesque (Paul), Debbie Provost (Gary), Kenneth Desbiens and Keith Desbiens; and her siblings-in-law, Yvonne Trudell (Roger), Victor Sylvestre (Sandy), Georgette St, Pierre (Greg), Roseanne Savoie (Sylva), Henriette, Jean Paul Sylvestre, Ernie Sylvestre, Anne-Marie Quenville (Phillipe), Nicole Castanier (Bernard) and Daniel Sylvestre (Laura). She was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, December 21st 2024 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM. A prayer was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Reaume Funeral Home Inc. (6 Canal St W, Tilbury, ON N0P2L0). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:15 PM at the Parish Church (5407 Comber Sideroad, Comber, ON N0P1J0).
