He was predeceased by: his wife Berniece Marentette; his parents, Edward Marentette and Emilie Marentette; his siblings, Leo, Norman, Raymond, Almer, Earl, Leonard, Charlotte, Monica, Mildred and Marion; his sister-in-law Theresa Sauve (Victor); and his parents-in-law, Leo and Germaine Breault.
He is survived by: his children, Donald (Maureen), Ronald (Beth) and Mary Lynn Strong (Louis); his grandchildren, Jim, Matt (Amanda), Josh (Brittany), Robin (Tom), Krystle (Bradford) and Lance (Ashley); his great grandchildren, Jake, Julien, Emmett, Wyatt, Madison, Emmeline, Alayna and Landon; and his siblings-in-law, Lucy Daigneau (Ridgway) and Norman Breault. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, March 24th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Tuesday, March 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A prayer will be held on Monday, March 24th 2025 at 8:00 PM at the Reaume Funeral Home Inc. (6 Canal St W, Tilbury, ON N0P2L0). A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, March 25th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Francis Xavier Church (32 Canal St W, Tilbury, ON N0P2L0).
