He is survived by: his wife Rita; his parents-in-law, Wilfrid and Arthémise Marentette; his stepchildren, Jeannine Makowski (Scott), Christine Myslawchuk (Jeff), Denis Comartin (Jeanine) and Louis Comartin (Sonia); and his niece Laura Johnson (David).
