He was predeceased by: his parents, Romain Roelandt and Celeste Roelandt (DeBuysscher) of Belgium; and his grandson Michael. He is survived by: his wife Margaret (Verstraete); his children, Susan VanderPryt (Paul), Rick Roelandt, Shelley Miller (Geoff) and Tracey DiCesare (Cesare); and his grandchildren, Tammy (Mike), Jason (Kathryn), Laura, Jenny Beth, David, Jessica, Elizabeth, Spencer and Christopher. He is also survived by Papa instilled that love to his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He became Warden of Kent County in 1992. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, a private viewing and celebratory Mass will be held by the family.
