He was predeceased by: his spouse Linda; and his parents, George Shannon and Vivian Shannon. He is survived by: his children, Penny Kwik (Richard), Melissa Kreitzer (Jason) and Kevin Shannon; his siblings, Gail Wry (Zig), Lynn Burd (late Sonny), Wendy Ritchie (Bill), George Shannon (Cheryl) and Greg Shannon (Joyce); and his grandchildren, Jessica Kwik, Robin Kwik, Logan Kreitzer and Delanie Kreitzer. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
