She was predeceased by: her husband Ronald Johnston; her parents, Joseph Donais and Margaret Donais; and her siblings, Alphonse Donais (late Eileen), Marie Douez (late Pete Bourdeau), Bernard Donais (late Edna), Alexina Phaneuf (late Philip), Cecile Lalonde (late Ray) and Paul Donais (late Donna).

She is survived by: her children, Brenda Mailloux (John) and Joe Johnston (Simone); her stepgrandchildren, Nicole Stokes and David Stokes (Deanna); and her siblings, Evelyn Belanger (late Andy), Raymond Donais (late Catherine) and Phillippe Donais (late Delvena).
