He was predeceased by: his parents, Gordon Murphy and Stella Murphy; his sister Pauline Murphy; and his siblings-in-law, Fred Gaudreau (late Madeline), Norm Gaudreau (late Diane), Shirley St (late Earl) and Bobby Gaudreau.
He is survived by: his wife Gloria (Gaudreau); his grandsons, Andrew, Kyle, Christopher, Joshua and Benjamin; his siblings, Joanne Murphy, Gerald Murphy and Mary Lou; and his siblings-in-law, Bill Gaudreau (Theresa), Betty Reaume (Bert) and Paul Gaudreau (Lydia). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family would greatly appreciate donations to the Murchadha House for Those with Exceptional Needs or the VON Society Gloria and family would like to thank Dr. Colin Bryan and the VON, especially Brittany and Vicki, for everything they did to make it possible for Jim to spend his final days at home with the comfort and love of his family.
