He was predeceased by: his stepchild Leslea Freeman; his parents, Berniece Clouthier and Archie Clouthier; and his siblings, Joseph Cloutier, David Clouthier and Susanne Clouthier.

He is survived by: his wife Madeleine Freeman; his daughter Belinda Haskell (Mike); his stepchildren, Peggy McCracken (Scott), Jamie McCracken and Jason Gignac (Stephanie); his stepgrandchildren, Jim Dupuis (Dawn), Nathan McCracken, Julie McCracken, Nicholas McCracken, Bridgette Gignac, Kaya Chappus, Blaze Martineau and Jolie Gignac; his great grandchild Hayley Gignac; and his siblings, Helen Bacon (late Kenneth), Larry Clouthier and Kevin Clouthier (Leslea). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
