He was predeceased by: his parents, Jules Benoit and Laurentia Benoit (Leboeuf); his brothers, Gabriel (Edna Benoit), Charles Benoit (Chuck) and Jules Jr. Benoit; and his siblings-in-law, Doris Clark, Carl, Maureen Atkinson, Jim, Ellen Hope, Mike and Peggy Hope.

He is survived by: his wife Connie Benoit; his children, Daniel Benoit (Dan), Michael and Sharon Benoit; his sister Blanche (Glenn Cooper); his grandchildren, Kayla, Richard, Danielle, Scott, Jenna and Jacob; his great grandchild Lucie; and his brother-in-law Robert.
