He was predeceased by: his father Rene Blain; and his sister Diane (Jim Peltier). He is survived by: his wife Elaine; his children, Colleen, Terry King, Darryl, Amanda Blain, Lindsay and Jason Dozois; his granddaughters, Vanessa, Stephanie King, Alexia, Audrey, Clara and Davi Blain; his mother Pauline Blain; and his siblings, Judy (Ken Blain), Donald (Aline Blain) and Annette (Roger Desimpel).
