She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilfred Reaume and Muriel Reaume (Murphy). She is survived by: her husband James "Jim" Laevens; her daughters, Janice McGregor (Ron) of Dover Township and Anita Wilbur (Terry Polyak) of Chatham; her grandchildren, Rhonda Verleye (Steve Drummond), Jason McGregor (Melissa), Candice Bezaire (Adam), Nicholas McGregor and Wesley Wilbur (Paige Alexander); her great grandchildren, Justis, Jaidyn, Julian, Leeland, Brayden, Kylan, Dean, Emery, Olivia and Hayden; and her siblings, Irvin Reaume (Dola) of Jeannette's Creek, Ann Stewart (Larry) of London and Elizabeth Gagnier (Luc) of Tilbury. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, friends and extended family.
