She was predeceased by: her husband Jacques Roels; and her sibling Alfons Derynck. She is survived by: her sons, Ralph Roels (Renée) and Gary Roels (Linda); her grandchildren, Ashlynne Roels, Jeff Roels (Lauren) and Jill Laraway (Chad); her great grandchildren, Lucas, Olivia and Liam; and her siblings, Wilhemina Landshoot and Johanna Korpan. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
