She was predeceased by: her parents, Otis and Harriet; her husband Bill; her siblings, Infant William Russell Tenier, Reta Henderson and Eleanor Laverty; her brothers-in-law, Robert Henderson and Roy Mercer; and also, Hatty and Tennier.
She is survived by: her child Melanie Kennedy of Oshawa; her friend Cathy McCormick; her child Patti Harrington; her grandchildren, Brooke Kennedy (Stephen Cochrane), Colin Kennedy, David Kennedy (Jessica Gowanlock), Kristy White (Chris McLean), Mathew White (MacKenzie Clark), Emily White and Laura White; her great grandchildren, Isabella and Oliver; her sisters, Barbara Meek (Everett), June Mercer and Monty Mendenhall; her brother-in-law Bruce Laverty; and also, Tom White (Diane) of Tilbury and Bill White of Oshawa. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
