She was predeceased by: her husband James "Jim" Ford; her granddaughter Lillian Gagnier; her siblings, Agnes Robinson (Charles), Margaret Cowan (Miles) and Douglas; and her parents, Annie Gardiner and William Gardiner.

She is survived by: her children, Brian Ford (Janet) and Barbara Gagnier (Robert); her grandchildren, Ryan Ford (Allison), Billie Ford and Emily Gagnier; and her great grandchildren, Brody, Nolan and Logan Ford. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Friday, August 30th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Reaume Funeral Home Inc. (6 Canal St W, Tilbury, ON N0P2L0). A funeral service was held on Saturday, August 31st 2024 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, August 31st 2024 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Stewart Cemetery.
