He was predeceased by: his parents, John Baptiste Rivest and Dolores Rivest (Marentette); his wife Henrietta (Poisson); his children, Phillips (Hollie Schmidt), Deborah and Stanley; and his siblings, Annella Pillon (late Aldege), Blanche Rivest, Origene Rivest (late Dora), Raymond Rivest (late Jeannette), Bernadette Schiller (late Raymond), Guillaume Rivest (late Ceile), Marguerite Cazabon (late Louis), John Jr., Thelma Rivest, Cahtering Bissonnette (late Roaire), Angela (late Edward Bechard) and Edward Rivest (Florence). He is also survived by many nephews and nieces.
