He was predeceased by: his child Shirley Scharf; his former wife Joyce McAuley; his parents, Leon Bellaire and Emma Bellaire (Baillargeon); his siblings, Edmond, Hector and Bernadette Lassaline (Cliff); and his sister-in-law Shirley McAuley.
He is survived by: his wife Rita Demers Bellaire; his sons, David Bellaire and Daniel Bellaire (Denise); his stepchildren, James Demers (Karen) and Janice Demers-Rivard; his great grandchild Maebel; and his sister Corrine Quenneville.
