We are sad to announce that on March 27, 2024, at the age of 85, William Butuk (Thunder Bay, Ontario) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Victoria; and his parents, John and Helen. He is survived by: his son Marcus (Debbie) of Owen Sound; his brother John (Gloria) of Kelowna; his granddaughter Ryleigh of Sutton West; his nephew Nick Baysarowich; and his caregiver Carol Dagenais.

In addition, he taught Electrical Engineering at Lakehead for eight semesters and was named as a Fellow of Engineers Canada for his contributions to the profession nationally.
