She was predeceased by: her parents, James Major and Esther Major; her husband Ian Walmark; her son Marvin McMenemy (Mike); her grandson Jeffery Lawrence McMenemy; and her siblings, Joseph Major, Leona Gourlay (Joe), Lois Johnston (Donald), Cassie Ostenrud (Fritz), Eva King (James) and Bernice Major.

She is survived by: her sons, Mike, Patrick McMenemy (Linda), Brian Walmark (Louise), John Walmark (Margit) and David Walmark (Valerie); her siblings, Thomas Major and Hezzie McNabb (James); her grandchildren, Michael McMenemy (Sheri), Ian Walmark (Cindy) and Maija Walmark; her great grandchildren, Jeffery R. McMenemy and Kamryn McMenemy; and her former husband Marvin McMenemy Sr..
