With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Waino Jacobson (Thunder Bay, Ontario), who passed away on June 8, 2021 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Vaino Jacobson and Toini Jacobson; and his brother Onni. He is survived by: his wife Lillian; his daughters, Jill Jacobson (Marc) and Lori Cacciatore; and his stepsons, Dan Kuokka (Dale) and David Kuokka.

“I and my sister will miss our father greatly. We are grateful that we were able to be at his bedside along his wife. We are so appreciative of the care she has given to our dad, after our mother Shirley Jacobson passed away almost 18 years ago. Thank you Lillian for being there always for our dad. My sister and I were very blessed to have grown up in a wonderful environment filled with camping, making music, boating, joking and just being together. We love you mom and dad”
