It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Valerie Jean Gascoigne (Thunder Bay, Ontario), who passed away at the age of 88, on March 19, 2021. She was predeceased by: her parents, Marjorie Franklin and Percy Franklin; and her former husband Russ. She is survived by: her husband Russell; her children, Roxanne, Derek (Georgia), Guy (Michelle) and Lorna (John); and her grandchildren, Duncan (Dee), Hilary (Andy), Brienne (Brian), Bianca, Marc, Mallory, Drew and Gabrielle. She is also survived by 7 great grandchildren.
Due to Covid-19 restrictions and Val's wishes, a private funeral service for immediate family members, will be held at Jenkens Funeral Home at 11 a. m. on Tuesday March 30.
